We are back and settling in for a great month of October in 2025 college football season with an emphasis on the underdogs against the number on the "3 Dog Thursday" show/podcast.

Host T.J. Rives is back with co-host Jason Powers on this newest edition to go over it all.

Florida Gator hopes off an impressive showing last week in hammering Texas at home and now, on Saturday night a showdown at Texas A&M.

What about an American conference showdown with USF out of Tampa, with two huge out of conference wins,  travelling to North Texas to meet the 5-0 Mean Green.

Who likes Wisconsin in a low scoring type matchup with Iowa in the Big Ten and who thinks that Bobby Petrino will have a positive effect in keeping it close for Arkansas at Tennessee? The boys also discsss the "pooches" for Michigan, Texas, Illinois and Arizona State on Saturday, too.

We are already to the month of October or is it "Lock-tober" picking college football underdogs against the number on our "3 Dog Thursday" show/podcast!

Host T.J. Rives and co-host Jason Powers return to go over their best possible matchups for the teams that are not favored. The guys are rolling at 19-10-1 on the season with T.J. now 12-3 ATS in picking underdogs so far in 5 weeks!

This includes: who likes the Purdue Boilermakers in a Big Ten showdown with Illinois? Speaking of pooches in the Big Ten, what about Maryland in their matchup with Washington coming all the way acros the country? Also, a couple of Big 12 teams are on the docket for this week in what may be the wildest major conference in America.

One of the prognosticators is also looking the way of the FSU Seminoles as the home doggie in their matchup with hated in-state rival Miami in the primetime ACC Satuday showdown.

And, there are a couple of large SEC matchups where Vandy and Florida are getting significant points  and the boys go over those too.

We have reached the conclusion of the regular season in college football and the postseason now begins this weekend in locations like Boise, ID, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN and beyond. And, our guys T.J. and Gary return to go over the title games and their thoughts on underdogs on "3 Dog Thursday!"

The guys begin with some philosophical talk on whether all the new teams in conferences making the title games is a "good thing" or not for the overall health of the sport?

Then, they get to it with the predictions from a spread standpoint this weekend? Who goes straight in for the Georgia Bulldogs as the hound in the rematch with Texas in the SEC championship game? It's a definite revenge spot for "Hookem" in this one. Also, who detours to the lesser known SunBelt title game and is backing the Marshall Thundering Herd as the slight doggie at Louisiana-Lafayette in champ game?

Then, the discussion turns back to the big boys, as one predictor believes in Clemson outright in the ACC championship matchup with new member SMU? And, will that cost the Ponies a possilble bid to the playoff? And, finally, who takes Penn State to upset the last of the unbeatens, Oregon?
