Jason Hoffer, CEO of B2 Outlets Stores and Lead Pastor at Pathway Church in Zeeland joins the conversation about hospitality with Perry and Shawna.  Jason shares the story of growing up with parents who would welcome young adults into his home for weeks and even months at a time. It disrupted their family but these young people became brothers and sisters who are part of Jason’s life still to this day.  So home run one in hospitality is to let your life be inconvenienced to show Jesus’ love.   Then Jason shares about recently sharing  a meal with someone with a rough past, new to the church, who had never experienced a family meal.  He watched in amazement as Jason’s family did something that was common to them, but only seen in movies by him.  So home run two in hospitality is that little things go a long way to show how God’s people are family and that all are welcome.  Finally Jason shares the story of how some of his friends in California let their lives be interrupted to welcome a teenager from Michigan checking out a couple California universities.  They changed their schedules and took her to the schools for visits.  So home run 3 in hospitality is to be impractical and interruptible.  To do things so far out of the norm that it causes people to realize they have value and worth to you.
