I have been around hunting ever since I can remember.  It is a tradition.  As a family unit we would take to the wilderness and hunt.  We never missed the opening day.  My brother, father and I bonded in many ways around the act of hunting.  Even more so, we told storied about hunting all year long.  It is part of me.

Can something good be passed on?  I am a believer, yes it can.  This is a memory of my father and his 1941 Willys Jeep.  I had a harrowing experience when I was a small child with my dad, the Jeep and a pair of red canvas sneakers.  Wow, the details I can remember from being a small boy, but I can’t remember to close the toilet seat lid.  Just ask Alice.

Some families have holiday stories about puppies or Santa Clause.  I want to introduce you to one of our holiday family stories.  It so happens that this is also Buck’s fist experience (that he remembers) of my crazy life experiences. A father son sharing moment, teaching moment? Again, too much to believe.  

I was raised in a very small town.  Think Mayberry RFD. Some things happen for a reason no matter the population of where you live. Telling this has rekindled many emotions.  Yes, I am a grown man and I still get teary eyed just thinking about this memory.  I hope this makes you feel some deep and very happy emotions of your own.  

I love life.  I think this gets me into trouble.  I need to learn when I am being hit on and when someone is flirting with me.  It took several experiences for me to overcome this problem.  Thankfully, I did learn how to cope with the situations.

Gambling is fun and I have been on several winning streaks.  I have hit the state lottery and won thousands of dollars gambling over the years.  Do I have a secret method?  Sort of.  It’s me, you know it is going to be weird.  Hit the play button and find out.

I was a traveling salesman for a minute.  Great job with lots of traveling, no surprises here, right?  You know by now nothing is as simple as it may appear.  Here are some select experiences from this time in my life.  Take a listen as you may be surprised.  

Is it rude to fart in public?  This is debatable in my opinion.  It is a bodily function common to most mammals. Sometimes you just have to let it fly so you don’t cramp up.  The sound can be a embarrassing, but we all know the smell will cause most of the problems.  Especially if it lingers for more than a minute or two. Today's episode will not entertain your sense of smell but hopefully it will cause you to stop and think. 

This was a difficult episode to create.  I love animals and the relationships I can have with them.  Be advised, this is not for the faint of heart.  It starts with one of my fondest memories of my family.  Then I discuss how things went so wrong with my pet.  It ends with a harrowing situation on a college campus. 

Seems there are themes in my life. I know, the sequel is never as good as the original. I had to do another “It’s a slow burn” episode.  There were just too many stories to have a single “slow burn” episode.  Again I say, “I can’t believe anyone could be serious about all this falderal and it leads to a…misunderstanding”? Enjoy.
