“The important thing to remember is that HeadTrash is a form of self-sabotage. We do it to ourselves. Other people may contribute, but we have more control over our thoughts than anything else in our lives or in this world. 

We make ourselves and design our lives with our thoughts. Thought determines action, action determines character, and your character is your destiny. It all begins with the seed of thought.

Self-sabotage is one of the greatest sources of unhappiness in our lives. We sabotage our relationships, personal finances, career, health, and so many aspects of our lives when we engage HeadTrash. 

Here are three ways we all sabotage ourselves with Headtrash:

1. Self-limiting beliefs. We all have them. What are yours? What do you believe about yourself that isn’t true? 

2. The Voice of Negativity. This voice within you always has a reason why you can’t do something, be more, become more, love more, receive more. There are two mistakes we make when it comes to the voice of negativity: we believe it and we dialog with it. Don’t dialog with it. You cannot win that argument. You can never win an argument with someone who doesn’t actually exist.

3. Need to Be Right. Sometimes we would rather be right than happy, we would rather be right than successful, we would rather be right than live life to the fullest. We will fail in order to prove a point. The desire to be right over other good things is pure HeadTrash. Dispose of it.
