The metaverse was introduced properly by mr. Zucherburg late last year. But this is not a Meta invention. The Metavers has been talked about for awhile and both Microsoft, google and Cisco are major players in addition to meny others who use a lot of resources on the metavarce. But what is it and when is it and how will it effect us?

We have never been as connected at we are to day. Our phones, tablets, computers, watches, cars, homes everything feels like it is connected to the Internet. But we have just begun. 

Now 5G networks are being rolled out and super fast access is taken for granted. In addition we see more and more sensors and devices being added to the grid. For all practical reasons we now do have internett on Mars and we are remote controlling rovers and a drone up there. For science and for the industry connectivity is an enabler opening up opportunities that was not remotely possible.

Most of us take food for granted and we can have what ever when ever we want to, but will this continue. The worlds population is growing fast and we need to find new ways to both produce and distribute food in a fear and sustainable way. I dag skal det handle om universell utforming og at det ikke bare handler om å gjøre det loven sier men at det faktisk er ganske smart for alle å følge UU-prinsippene. Jeg har med meg Ingeborg Tande Johnsen som er utdanna interaksjonsdesigner fra Norges Kreative Fagskole som i dag er en del av Høyskolen Kristiania.

Ingeborg brenner virkelig for design, og mener at god design er universell utformet. Hun kaller seg Idé og konseptdesigner og hjelper bla. bedrifter med å utvikle og teste nye ider og konsepter. Hun har også sittet i juryen hos DogA for innovasjonsprisen for universell utforming, og har i tillegg skrevet en liten bok med fokus på det samme team som heter “Easy All”. 

I dag skal det altså handle om design om smart design og vi skal naturligvis snakke litt om dingser vi håper kommer og om fremtiden.
