When the bottom drops out and all the things that we use to hold on to as part of our identity fall away, it's easy to feel lost. We hold on so tightly to the things that we do (mother, wife, husband, executive, teacher) often we mix up those roles that we play with who we are and so when there is a change to any of those roles we go into an identity crisis.
