Roger and Naomi are a challenge to the existing church in Banaue that takes them to court. Roger wins. He and a native believer, George, translate the Gospel of John into Ifugao. The mission wants Roger to teach chemistry in Manila, but he resists, so they send the couple to Baguio. There they establish Bible fellowships for the mountain students. After 32 years they retire and go to Israel, enduring the Gulf War. They start a Messianic ministry. Then their oldest son and family die in a plane crash. Roger and Naomi are still in ministry.
