During combat Richard vows to serve God, but afterward slides sideways until his parents’ prayers intervene. He goes to Bible college, meets Jean and they marry. They become missionaries to Indians in Mexico, then start various ministries to Spanish-speakers in Texas. Jean writes Bible doctrine books before she dies in 2008. Richard is still in ministry.
