Finally, they discuss the differences between communism and socialism, how there has never been a successful communist experiment, and that the closest thing to a communist entity is a tiny village in rural China.

The speaker believes that socialism blended with capitalism is the best way for governments to operate and provides evidence for this opinion through citing the high rankings of Scandinavian countries on the Happiness Index and Freedom Indexes. He also mentions that his home country of Canada is just a few steps ahead of the United States in terms of healthcare, suggesting that the U.S. leans too heavily into unregulated capitalism. He concludes by noting that while some libertarians might not think the U.S. is libertarian enough, compared to other countries it is very libertarian.
