The US prison system is broken, and is essentially a slave labor force.

The conversation focused on prison reform, with the speaker discussing how there are five major corporations that run prison systems. They noted that the people incarcerated in these systems are often paid a meager $10 a week, and that there are other countries, such as Norway and Italy, that focus on rehabilitation rather than punishment. The speaker noted that those incarcerated in Iceland still knew they would get caught if they tried to escape, but that it was better to focus on improving themselves and their education level. Unlike in America, those incarcerated in Iceland don't have a criminal record that keeps them from voting or from getting hired.

The conversation discusses how prison rehabilitation should focus on getting inmates back into the workforce, not just rehabilitation, but improvement. It suggests providing them with educational certificates and trade programs so they can gain apprenticeships and employment. It is also suggested that inmates should be given interviews and job opportunities before they are released from prison. Finally, the conversation points out that prison lobbying groups advocate for stricter laws on marijuana and other offenses, and that when inmates are released, they are not allowed to vote, and often have difficulty finding a job, which leads to a higher chance of them returning to a life of crime.

The conversation between two people discussed the issue of recidivism, which is the tendency of a convicted criminal to reoffend. They talked about how corporations make money off of prisoners by paying them slave wages of just $0.88 an hour. They expressed their shock and disgust at this, arguing that even if the wage was increased to the minimum wage, corporations would still be making a killing. They also discussed how this encourages recidivism as prisoners have no money or marketable skills when they are released. They also received a message from G Baby, although they were unsure of what it meant.
