Today’s conversation with Katie Driessens a registered dietitian who started out providing traditional medical nutrition therapy, spent 7 years in Endocrinology and became a board certified diabetes care and education specialist. After some of her own health issues that were finally found and addressed well via Functional Medicine, Katie has evolved to become a Functional & Integrative Medicine aligned practitioner. In layman's terms, Katie respects both conventional and holistic care strategies and believes we should lean into one where the other lacks when necessary.
