32 Fans Podcast

From December 2019 through March 2020, 32 Fans patrons partook in a seven episode long series to determine the best song of the 90s. But some of our listeners weren't even alive in the 90s, and they want to know what we've done for them lately. So today we begin the 32 Fans Song of the Century bracket to determine the greatest song from 2000 to 2022. (Or 2001 to 2022. Don't worry, we have that fight.)

But first we need to determine which song enters the bracket from artists with multiple hits. So today, in two parts (one on the main feed, one on the patron feed), we listen to a bunch of songs from Adele, Beyonce, Daft Punk, Drake, Eminem, the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Outkast and Rihanna to pick one song per artist that will enter our round of 64. Joining us to provide some musical credibility is Isaiah, the creator of Silent Podcasts and the host of Aux Cord Approved podcast.

This episode's outro is Green Day's Song of the Century.

Netflix recently came out with the inaugural class of "The Hall", its version of the standup comedy hall of fame. So of course Alex responded by making his own standup hall of fame. But needing additional ammunition to critique Alex's list, Keev turns to the guy who literally wrote the book, stand-up comedian and historian Wayne Federman.

This episode's outro is Dovshaniya by Shahar Saul.

Keev ranks every 2022 NFL regular season game from 1 to 272 and presents his worst NFL prop bets. But mostly the guys talk about mishegas.

A year after dominating Alex and Keev in the best words draft, Naomi Calhoun returns to 32 Fans to draft the worst words.

Here is the link to the draft results for both the best words and worst words drafts. (Don't click the "Worst Words" tab before listening to the podcast unless you want to spoil yourself.)

Which NBA uniform is the best? Special guest Rob "Sandwich" Lasher joined Alex and Keev during BRACKET SZN to pick the best NBA uniform in 2022 to start our best uniform in sports uber-bracket.

Given the visual nature of the topic, this episode is probably best enjoyed with video, which can be seen here.

You can also see the bracket (without winners, so you won't be spoiled) here.

This episode's outro is Uniforms by Pete Townshend. (All rights to the song belong to Pete!)

With no QBs at the top of the draft, excitement is somewhat dulled for this year's NFL draft. So as we do every year, we've invited fans to tell us not who they think their team will take, but who they'd like their team to take, but this year we stop halfway through the first round. In addition to trying to guess the fans' picks, Jordan Kalish provides us with his mock draft. The full draft (both the fans and Jordan) is available here.

This episode's outro is "Watch Out For Her" by Subliminal feat. Lior Farchi, which is how I feel about draft busts.

When Akiva was working at the Winter Olympics a couple months ago, he tweeted a photo of a list his colleague John had made of things he hated. Now John joins 32 Fans to work through the list bracket-style and determine the most hatable things.
