32 Fans Podcast

Keev battles Alex (and the listeners) in the first annual 32 Fans #HotTakeOff. They are judged by special guest Rob Cesternino, who assigns each take between 1 and 7 spicy peppers. Will Rob and Keev complain about the Mets? Will Dr. Jen make an appearance to yell at her husband? Who will win the battle of the #hottakes? (If you want to just check the box score without listening to the episode, click here.)

Last year it took Keev and Alex not one, not two, not three, but four episodes to determine who is the Greatest Living American. Last year it took Keev and Alex not one, not two, not three, but four episodes to determine who is the Greatest Living American. This week Keev and Alex look at the flip side of the coin, trying to find the Worst Living American. (A few ground rules: we eliminate convicted murderers and rapists, Nazis, and all politicians.) 32 despicable Americans from the sports world battle 32 despicable Americans from media and entertainment to vie for the crown as the worst person with American citizenship currently breathing. With a number of disagreements, Keev and Alex turn to whichever of their friends are on GChat to break the ties (including Josh, Yoni, Jake, Shamir, Harold, Shmarya, Superfan Robby, Noam and Amir).

Keev and Alex ultimately cannot agree as to the winner of the second semifinal matchup, but they agree that that winner will thrash the other semifinalist in the finals, so Keev will be posting a Twitter poll this week to allow listeners to help determine the official 32 Fans Worst Living American.

Next week our #hottake judge will be back from Canada to judge the 32 Fans #HotTakeOff. If you have any #hottakes, its not too late to email or tweet them at us.

This episode is so bad you shouldn’t even listen to it. Akiva insisted on waiting until the NFL released the 2017 schedule, so that we could predict the Vikings and Jets records 5 months before the season even begins. But then he fell asleep. So Alex had to wake up at 5 AM to record, […]

This episode is so bad you shouldnt even listen to it. Akiva insisted on waiting until the NFL released the 2017 schedule, so that we could predict the Vikings and Jets records 5 months before the season even begins. But then he fell asleep. So Alex had to wake up at 5 AM to record, while fighting with two of his kids. He also complains about the Blackhawks only losing when the Wild also do, and he disciplines his kids a lot, while Keev keeps talking in the background. If you suffer through this episode, you only have yourself to blame. Things will get better next week. Hopefully.

This weeks outro song is Visions by Danrell andamp; Alec King. Even if its not a great song, its the best part of this episode.

Keev and Alex hop on the phone to discuss Passover, fistfights and dad strength, the NBA playoffs (18:00), and to announce the greatest American athlete of all time (32:30). Check out Alex’s swollen purple hand here (even if he was master of his own domain, there goes his career as a hand model). This week’s outro song […]
