Beth finds herself a stranger in a strange land and tries to acclimate herself to her new surroundings while still plagued by amnesia. As she's looked after by one of Gralsburg's most influential families, she tries to understand her new situation as the Corbins assess what her arrival means for the future of their home.

Meanwhile, back in Appalachia, Odessa, unaware of Beth's disappearance, visits Scribe Navia and they bond over technology and reflect on the positive influence both that the Brotherhood has had on the region and that they've had on the Brotherhood and its institutions.
