In 2010, a young Hawaiian trekked toward the moonlit shores of Oʻahu in order to take in some night surfing. Well aware of the risks involved in this solo expedition, this intrepid water sports enthusiast never once suspected that his dance with danger would begin before he even got into the water with a crazy confrontation that not only shattered his notions of reality, but plunged him headlong into the tumultuous seas of high strangeness.
