In the summer of 1988, 17 year old Christopher Davis of Lee County was driving home from work through the swamps of South Carolina late one night when he got a flat tire.

Now, having to repair a tire on your own in the dark in the middle of a swamp is scary enough, but soon  Christopher could feel someone watching him. He looked up to see something with two red eyes peering at him from the treeline, and it looked hungry.
