The key is to choose God’s way and hold possessions loosely. Jesus warned that “a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). Money can be a useful servant but a dangerous master. Property is to be used, enjoyed, shared, and given—but never hoarded. Paul reminds us that “the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). When wealth becomes our focus, it shackles our hearts, hardens our spirits, and blinds us to what truly matters.
