Hana the hyena is out for a walk when she gets a case of the giggles before long all the animals in the sanctuary join in to laugh out loud.

Laugh Out Loud Excerpt:

Sunshine highlighted the wavy grasses as it filled the animal sanctuary with warmth. Hana Hyena strolled through the fields singing a little song. She was feeling especially happy today and wanted to share her joy. As the little hyena walked her song grew louder and louder. Then Hana noticed some movement to her right. She turned and saw a meerkat standing up, looking at her with a puzzled expression. “That’s funny.” Hana thought, then smiled and continued her song. The little hyena sensed movement to her left and turned. Another puzzled looking meerkat had popped up. The little hyena giggled and continued on her way singing once again.  One meerkat popped up in front of her, then another. More and more meerkats popped up in the waving grass. Hana began to giggle a bit more at the site of all the meerkats popping up to look at her.

 

The little hyena tried to continue her song but now the giggle was stuck. She giggled as passed Giselle and her tower of giraffes. They lifted their heads as Hana passed, wondering what the little hyena was giggling about. Hana giggled even more, remembering the meerkats popping up in the grass. Hana’s giggle tickled the giraffes and as the little hyena passed them the giraffes began to giggle as well.
