Buried Treasure Excerpt:

Sunshine spilled through the curtains lighting up the kitchen table. Allie smiled, enjoying the warm light as she ate her breakfast. Once she finished Allie quickly cleaned up. She was meeting her friends in the park later today, and she had a surprise for them that would take time to set up. Allie grabbed her pirate hat and her bag then asked, “Are you ready mom?”

Allie’s mom answered, “You sure are excited today. I’ll put my shoes on and then we can go.” Allie took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath) while she waited for her mom. “Why are you in such a rush? I thought you were meeting Owen, Andy and Helen at 1. It’s only 10.” Her mom said.

Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe.
