Imagine reading your contract closely to determine how to approach a potential issue, only to find out that you are held to the requirements of a clause that isn't written into the contract.  Kevin and Paul discuss the Christian Doctrine, which holds that mandatory clauses that express a significant or “deeply ingrained strand of public procurement policy” will be considered to be in the contract by operation of law, even if they are omitted.
