35 | Beyond the Scale: Why Weight Loss Isn't Enough

You’ve been living with a certain mindset for a long time—the belief that once you lose weight, then you’ll finally feel good about yourself. That hitting a certain number on the scale will make you beautiful, confident, free, and happy.

 

It’s easy to believe that losing weight is what will bring us true joy and satisfaction because that’s what the world tells us.

 

From media and ads to clothing stores and influencers, we’re told that happiness comes when we’re thinner. That life will be better once we fit into our pre-pregnancy jeans or look like that fitness influencer on Instagram.

 

But here’s the truth: none of those things will bring lasting joy.

 

Real freedom, confidence, and contentment won’t come from your body changing. They come from Jesus.

 

Not just knowing Him—but fully surrendering your health journey to Him and rooting your worth, identity, and satisfaction in who He says you are.

 

If you’ve been chasing the number on the scale and still feel empty, this episode will help you shift your mindset and start finding true peace—not in your progress, but in God’s presence.
