Torah and Language Academy is a Yeshiva is Belle Harbor, NY dedicated to providing students with language -
based learning disabilities an outstanding Judaic and general studies curriculum. Using effective research - based instruction, we strive to provide our students the educational support they require to develop their individual strengths and talents within a warm and nurturing Torah environment. Our goal is to give our students the foundations that they need to return to their
neighborhood schools with self-confidence and a love of Torah and Mitzvos. TAL Academy uses evidenced based instruction to help children develop their strengths while remediating their learning challenges in a Torah environment.
Our goal is to enable our students to return to their home school yeshivas with learning strategies, self-confidence and a love of Torah and mitzvot cultivated in their success. More information is found at ww.talacademy.org
Meet Mrs. Sara Taib, the founding principal of TAL Academy and who has a unique blend of skills and passion. She began her career at Sinai School, where she advanced to Director, developing innovative Judaic Studies programs and training teachers in effective methods. Most recently, she led Student Support Services at Stella K. Abraham High School, collaborating with families and professionals to help students succeed.

The host Rabbi Yerachmiel Garfield Ed.D. is the Head of School of the rapidly growing Yeshiva Toras Emes in Houston Texas. He has previously served as a mesivta rebbe, assistant menahel, school counselor and adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he has written on chinuch topics for national publications, educational journals, and has presented multiple workshops. He is the founding director of the Yeshiva Leadership Group which provides networking and growth opportunities to Yeshiva school leadership.
