This weeks would-you-rather:
Would you rather take the long road to an amazing destination or the short road to an okay situation?
You might think that you struggle with being consistent, but you might just be consistent with habits that are not serving you.
For example: Consistently scrolling, procrastinating, drinking more than you like or making excuses.
Instead of completely overhauling your life and getting rid of all of these habits, why not try replacing them with better ones?
For example: Reading more, taking action, drinking more mocktails, taking responsibility etc.
You're not seeing results because you are consistently doing the wrong things.
Keep the identity of someone who is consistent, but replace the habits that you were consistent with.
If you could adopt some new and improve micro habits, you could end the year saying "who even am I?"
Just like Sam asked herself "who even am I?" during her 83 day booze break.
Just like members of Bloom Flourish Fitness are saying "who even am I" when they are showing up week after week for their 15-minute workouts.
Just like Jess is saying "who even am I?" when she realizes she has been a podcaster for 1 whole year!! (happy anniversary Feel Good Daily Show!)
Fall in love with the long game. Romanticize the journey of someone who shows up consistently. Make the journey and your habits fun!
