On this first Sunday after Christmas, we had our first Family Sunday. The kids stayed in the main service with us and so there are two half-sermons here. The first is delivered by Pastor Jeff to the kids who were gathered in the front of the sanctuary and the second sermon was delivered by Pastor Debbi Smith to the whole congregation. We hope that you are met today by the God who has condescended to become one of us.

On this second week of Advent, we consider how we as Christians can dare to hope in Christ in a world of cynicism. We can be a church of harmony and hope rather than cynicism and despair.

On this first week of Advent, we explore the call to repentance so that we might be prepared for the coming of our Lord--his Second Coming, his first coming on Christmas and the way that he wants to come into our life at each and every moment.
