Moses comes to the close of his great exhortation to Israel to "choose life and good, not death and evil." We are similarly called to abandon all those things which is full of death and to choose instead the things of God, which are Life and Good.

We conclude Moses' great central sermon (chapters 12-26) with a passage on the way that Israel was to offer their tithes and offerings and even their very lives.

Pastor Jeff walks us through Deuteronomy 23:15-25 and the commands that guide us through how to manage debt and the loaning of money. We discover that in our everyday lives, God has called us to display the dignity of the Name of God that has been given to us by our being created in his image.

Deuteronomy has a great deal to say about life. In this sermon, we explore what Scripture and Jesus teach about human dignity, identity and flourishing in regards to our sexual relationships. We have all been given remarkable dignity by virtue of our creation and even though we might not see it right away, Deuteronomy wants us to see and to live out that dignity in the way we treat ourselves and others in all our relationships and especially our intimate ones.
