37th & The World: Understanding the crisis in Haiti

Listen Later

Since February of this year, a surge in violence has reached "unprecedented levels," leading to rampant food insecurity and numerous displacements. Amidst this unparalleled crisis, families grapple with the challenge of securing even the most basic necessities as desperation worsens.

To understand the crisis, GJIA sits down with Johnny Celestin, a leader with global experience in international development, governance, leadership, and community development. He has over 30 years of experience in the private, public, and philanthropic sectors. He has worked at several organizations and institutions, including the Haitian Center for Leadership and Excellence and Haiti’s Ministry of Planning & External Cooperation.
