The Ohio River and its many tributaries are a hotbed of odd (and often dangerous) cryptid activity, but one of the weirdest creatures ever to have emerged from their gloomy depths has got to be the hulking, gray-skinned, quasi-cephalopod, which at least five terrified eyewitness claimed to have encountered during the bitter winter of 1959.
