Snakehead fishing has exploded in popularity across the Mid-Atlantic, fueled by federal funding for invasive species programs in Maryland and Virginia and a huge push encouraging anglers to remove snakehead from our waters. But alongside that, an equally passionate community of anglers has emerged dedicated not just to catching snakehead, but also to celebrating and advocating for their protecting this unique species!! 

Andrew and I dive into what makes the snakehead fishing culture so unique, from the controversy around their presence to the thrill of targeting these hard-fighting fish. Andrew also shares his personal journey—transitioning from service in the U.S. Army, to becoming a kayakangler, and ultimately founding Tactical Fishing Company.
