📖 Scripture: Matthew 1:18–23 & Isaiah 7:14
In today’s episode, we discover one of the most comforting names of God — Immanuel, which means “God with us.”
Through the story of Joseph’s dream, children learn how God’s ancient promise through the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14) was fulfilled when Jesus was born. This episode connects the prophecy of old with the miracle of Christmas, showing that God always keeps His promises and is with us.
Kids will be able to connect this story to their own lives—knowing that God is with them on both the good days and the hard ones.
Through simple, relatable examples—like going out for pizza or having to say goodbye to a loved one—I help children see what faith looks like in their everyday experiences. Even when they’re nervous about a doctor visit or feeling sad, this episode reminds them that God’s presence never leaves.
