One of the biggest weeks on the football calendar is here -- it's draft week!
Joel Gasson and John Fraser share their thoughts on the now completed NFL draft and what it could mean for the CFL draft.
Before all of that, they pour one out for the sudden end of the Shutdown Fullcast, the internet's only college football podcast.

This week on the 3Down Green Cast, Joel Gasson and John Fraser discuss the for sale sign going up on the XFL and what they would do with the league if they were to buy it.
They also discuss the delayed start to the CFL regular season and if it's even feasible to play a season at all at this point.
If the season isn't played, there's a chance that every CFLer could become a free agent, if that were the case, who would they target in free agency?

With so much going on in the world, Joel Gasson and John Fraser are back to talk about a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't really have to do with anything -- especially football.
Before getting into a bunch of nonsense, like theories about kids' shows and interesting international football team names, Joel and John get a little serious and talk about the importance of supporting local business right now.
Joel ruins a show that Max likes for John before putting John's knowledge of European football team names to the test.

It's Rouge Week!
Joel Gasson and John Fraser are back to talk about everyone's favourite CFL rule the only way they know how -- by embracing the dumb. Joel and John share some of their dumbest suggestions for changing the rouge.
John also shares a story that brings him great shame.
They also discuss the evolving covid-19 situation and what the CFL should do in the coming weeks with the combine on the horizon.

This week on the 3Down Green Cast with Joel Gasson and John Fraser, Fraser has to make one of the toughest decisions of his life.
We learned this past weekend that there's a new kicker after John's heart -- Ernesto Lacayo of the Seattle Dragons. His football background is simply incredible and it might mean bad news for Sergio Castillo.
After that, Joel and John discuss a potential change in the CFL's playoff format and come with up ideas to make the post-season even more ridiculous.

The day football fans have been waiting for finally came! No, not the opening of CFL Free Agency but the opening weekend in the XFL.
Joel Gasson is joined this week by Dan Plaster of CBC as John Fraser is slacking off in Mexico.
They discuss what they liked about the XFL and how fun the games were. They also breakdown the Riders free agent moves, or lack thereof so far. Spoiler alert: quiet is good. They also chat about the other moves across the league and how the tampering window may have had an unintended effect.
Dan also came prepared and puts Joel through a football movies at the Oscars quiz.

After a long hiatus, the Green Cast is back for 2020.
Joel Gasson and John Fraser talk about the Riders holes heading into free agency and how important it was that the team got Cameron Judge under contract (eventually, we do get to football but you'll have to get through some dumb before that.)
We also chat about what could happen to Micah Johnson, the QB situation in Toronto and Chris Strevler signing with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Riders have a new offensive coordinator and we're here for it.
Joel Gasson and John Fraser discuss Craig Dickenson's decision to make a change on offence, Jason Maas' offence and what it means for the team, specifically Cody Fajardo. We also chat a little about the future of Stephen McAdoo.

The offseason is well underway and that means it's business time.
Before they get to all of that, Joel Gasson and John Fraser break down John's post-Grey Cup experience and the game itself.
We also chat about the Louchiez Purifoy signing, one year contracts and the future of Stephen McAdoo.

It was a big weekend for Green Cast co-host John Fraser, no not because his Winnipeg Blue Bombers are going to the Grey Cup, but because the Bombers actually won a game with him in attendance.
They had lost like 26 straight before that.
So, naturally John is relieved that he'll be able to go to the games in the future knowing they might win.
Joel and John also talk about the Bombers big win and what a let down the Riders offence was and how that cost them the game. They talk big picture on what was overall a very positive season for the Green and White then take a quick look at this week's Grey Cup.
