Bring on the West Final.
Joel Gasson and John Fraser get you ready for this weekend's big game by talking about the Bombers quarterback situation, and what the Riders can do about it. They also talk about Cody Fajardo's situation.
They also talk a little about the East Final and the revival of the CFL in Quebec and how that changes everything for the league.
They also give some props to the team, city and Evraz Place for George Reed Way and to the Piffles Podcast crew for a big donation.

The Riders got the job done this week and signed their quarterback to a two year extension. Joel Gasson and John Fraser talk about how the deal is good for both sides and how Fajardo has done everything right.
With award season right around the corner, they also talk about Fajardo's chances there and talk about the other possible team nominees for the Most Outstanding Player Awards.

A tough loss for the Riders in Calgary but not all is lost.
Joel Gasson and John Fraser agree with 3DownNation's Ryan Ballentine that the score flattered the Riders a bit, we also feel they showed enough to lead us to believe they could win there if the West Final is in Calgary.
We also talk about that game's officiating and get into a broader discussion about attendance across professional sports.

The CFL Trade Deadline has come and gone without much of anything happening, except for one trade.
That one trade was enough to throw our entire opening segment out the window as John was ready and willing to go off on the Bombers for not adding a quarterback.
We also talk about why the CFL trade deadline is so slow, the Riders big win over Winnipeg and how that wins shows just how wrong we were about this team at the start of the year.

The Riders did what they had to do against Toronto. So, yeah.
That's actually been one of their stories of the season, they haven't really lost to anyone they're supposed to. Because of that, they're in position to have a shot at finishing first in the West.
We also discuss the return of Jordan Williams-Lambert and Brendon LaBatte

The Riders are back from their bye week and so is the 3Down Green Cast.
This week, Joel and John talk about Jordan Williams-Lambert's pending return and that resting Naaman Roosevelt for a week to do it might not be the worst decision with a five game stretch to end the season against the west, including three straight games on the road.
They also touch on the ridiculousness that is the Riders feeling the need to apologize for their brand being used in a Beyond Meat burger commercial for a fast food chain.

The Riders suffered their first loss in six games at the hands of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in this year's Banjo Bowl.
A win so good for Winnipeg that John couldn't be with us this week. So, instead Joel joined by CBC Saskatchewan's and fellow college football nerd Dan Plaster.
They talk about what went wrong for the Riders and where they go from here. They also touch on the return of Jordan Williams-Lambert and the reported extension of the CFL on TSN.
