They also talk about what a potential long term injury means for the Riders season.

Joel and John also say it's time to start the season earlier and they talk about the latest in the Halifax stadium situation.

  • So, what did we miss?

After a week off, Joel Gasson and John Fraser are back to break down a pretty eventful couple of weeks in Saskatchewan, ending with the Riders naturally beating the Calgary Stampeders.

They also try and figure out who the best team is currently in the West Division, talk about the Charleston Hughes situation and make suggestions that Evraz Place is sure to ignore as they look for public feedback into their operations.

  • Nice fence, where's the O?

The Saskatchewan Roughriders clinched a playoff game with their ugly win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

Joel Gasson and John Fraser discuss the topic they've been discussing all year, the state of the offence. They also touch on the trade deadline, should the Riders target S.J. Green? Also, is Willie Jefferson make his way into the Riders MOP nominee conversation?

  • Grey Cup Chatter and #8EndNation

This week on the 3Down Green Cast Joel Gasson and John Fraser discuss the Riders bidding for the 2020 Grey Cup and what stands in their way of hosting it. They also touch on this year's half-time act and ask the question, do you now trust the team's offence?

Also, should there be an #8EndNation Podcast once this winter with John Hodge?

  • Mascots and Brett FUQ'N Lauther

The sports world and the internet is buzzing after the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL released their new nightmare inducing mascot "Gritty." That has Joel Gasson asking John Fraser just who is his favourite mascot?

On the field, Joel and John discuss the Riders win over Toronto and start to wonder if the defence is wearing down a little bit from carrying this team all season or is this just a lull ahead of more important games?

Riders place kicker Brett Lauther is the talk of Saskatchewan after his game winning 56-yard field goal against Toronto. We already know he's Joel's pick for Riders MOP, but is he John's? Joel and John also discuss possible nominees for the other team's awards.

  • Oh no, they suck again! (but not really)

At long last, we might finally have answers about the Roughriders offence following their loss to the Ottawa Redblacks and it's not a good answer if you're a Rider fan.

Joel Gasson and John Fraser are back to discuss the Riders offence and it's pretty obvious at this point that they cannot win them a game. Even though Chris Jones made the defence a point of emphasis after the game, Joel and John aren't worried about the unit long term.

Overall, are the Riders still in good shape? Joel thinks so, but John isn't so convince.

In their look around the league, Joel and John discuss the Bombers decision to start Matt Nichols at quarterback against Montreal

  • Local beer, local quarterbacks, local mob ties?

This week on the 3Down Green Cast, Joel Gasson and John Fraser give you the run down on fresh, local beer that will be available at Mosaic Stadium for the Riders upcoming game against the Redblacks and answer an important question, is John related to Al Capone?

On the field, Joel and John discuss the status of quarterback Zach Collaros and how the offence is contributing to the team's success even without scoring a whole lot of points. They also discuss just how weird the Banjo Bowl was, how good Willie Jefferson was and how Matt Nichols was the exact opposite.

In their look around the league, Joel and John share their thoughts on a couple of topics surrounding the league's broadcaster TSN, first Joel is tired of people complaining about the 1-5 set up, no matter what they do, while John thinks it's time to dump in-game interviews at important points in the game.
