As part of 3rd & East’s 32 in 32 series, we continue with the defending NFC North champion Lions. The Lions were the feel good team the entire year beating very good competition and having a high powered offense led by Amon Ra St Brown and Jared Goff. Dan Campbell’s aggressive coaching got them to the NFC championship game against the 49ers where the dominated them. That same play calling however doomed them as major mistakes by Campbell combined with a resurgent 49ers team cost the Lions their first ever Super Bowl appearance. Now expectations are very high for them this year, can the Lions make the Super Bowl?!

32-32 - During a roller coaster season and at some time during the season, the Packers looked like one of the worst teams in football with an inexperienced Jordan Love and a pourous defense. That all changed from Thanksgiving and afterwards (to a degree) as the Packers became a force late in the season. Their potential was proven in a dominant playoff victory of the heavily favored Cowboys and came up just short to the top seeded 49ers. With the Packers still being the youngest team in the league, are the upstart Packers a sleeper team to win it all and is Jordan Love the real deal?
