In this episode, Austin talks about growth and fixed mindsets from the book Mindset: How You Can Fulfill Your Potential by Dr. Carol Dweck (link down below). There are several benefits and drawbacks that you can encounter when having such mindsets that Austin mentions. He goes on to talk about ten ways that Dr. Dweck suggests implementing to slowly work your way from having a fixed mindset to a growth one. They are:

1.  Acknowledge and embrace your imperfections

2. View challenges as opportunities

3. Try different learning tactics

4. Replace the word "failure" with "learning"

5. Stop seeking approval

6. Value the process over the end result. (Find joy in the journey)

7. Cultivate a sense of purpose

8. Celebrate the growth of others

9. Reward actions over traits

10. Use the phrase "not yet" instead of "no"
