Mark 1:9–15

In today’s episode of Kids Bible Stories, we continue our journey through the fast-paced Gospel of Mark and watch Jesus step into His public mission.

  • Jesus baptized in the Jordan—and why He did it even though He never sinned
  • God the Father speak from heaven and call Jesus His beloved Son
  • Jesus face temptation in the wilderness and succeed where Adam failed
  • Jesus begin preaching the good news: “Repent and believe the gospel!”

    • What priests did in the Old Testament and how Jesus is the better, final Priest
    • What “repent” really means
    • What the gospel is
    • And what Jesus means when He says to “believe”
