For most of my life, I thought humility meant I had to somehow intentionally put myself down or deny any sort of encouragement or affirmation. But as Rick Warren so famously said, "Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself, less."

The truth is, we can think too highly and too lowly of ourselves. Either way, the burden of self-focus is exhausting and Jesus offers us a better way. Listen in.
