Reza Nasseri began working on net-zero homes 15 years ago and is recognized as a pioneer and leader in net-zero design for production homes. In part 1 of our series, we trace his roots as a young electrical engineer and flesh out what motivates him to design and build the most affordable net-zero homes.

Nasseri is the founder of Landmark Homes, and ARQBuilt has developed a revolutionary automated factory for producing exceptionally high-quality homes.

We first met Nasseri in 2013 when we did a story on his work to build net-zero homes. Since then, he's built 40 net-zero and more than 120 solar-powered homes, and today it looks like his long-term goal of building large numbers of these super energy-efficient homes is coming true.
