A mysterious regime change on Romulus presents the Federation with an unprecedented opportunity for peace. However, Captain Jean Luc Picard quickly discovers the mysterious new leader of the Romulan Star Empire, Shinzon of Remus, has a very familiar face. Picard's past comes back to confront him.
