Throughout life, I believe we have moments that change the trajectory of our life, happen so we can gain a new perspective, or an experience that truly changes our life for the better. While most of those moments are happy and positive, some can be scary and tragic, which is exactly what happened to me. In today’s episode, I’m sharing the story of my panic attack and explaining what I learned from it and why it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
In sharing my story, I’m telling you the real, raw, and vulnerable moments, thoughts, and feelings of when I experienced my panic attack in hopes you will gain some insight and learn from it. But it’s more than just repeating the story to you. I dive deeper into the reasons that led to my panic attack, which might surprise you.
More importantly, the purpose of this episode is to share what I learned and how it can apply to your life, even if you haven’t had a panic attack or have the same anxious feelings as I do. In order to help others, I share my 3 biggest takeaways from my panic attack experience that will resonate with any circumstance that you’re currently going through. And finally, I explain the biggest reason why it was the best thing for me, which led me to something that I needed all along, but didn’t know I needed.
It’s not easy being vulnerable and sharing a terrifying experience, but if the result is helping others, I’m all in. While my story may not be exactly like yours, there are elements that you can relate to and apply to your life. My hope is that after this episode, you will have learned something that will help you make tiny adjustments that will ultimately help you live your best teacher life.
