We often feel immense pressure to prove ourselves. We start to believe we are what we do, what we look like, what we have, what we can control, or what others say about us. And it is exhausting.
I've been learning that Jesus felt this pressure to prove, too. But his identity was grounded in something greater. He was able to rest secure in who God said he was. And he was beloved.
