At its 2024 Synod, the Christian Reformed Church drew a hard, firm, clear, and biblical line regarding sexual ethics and the Seventh Commandment. Synod overwhelmingly rolled back liberal attempts to accommodate the culture by requiring ministers and congregations, and church courts who have compromised on the Bible's teaching to publicly repent or face discipline. In a bold and necessary move, the Synod has taken away the "voice" of those who refuse to uphold the CRC's position on human sexuality.
