At its 2024 Synod, the Christian Reformed Church drew a hard, firm, clear, and biblical line regarding sexual ethics and the Seventh Commandment. Synod overwhelmingly rolled back liberal attempts to accommodate the culture by requiring ministers and congregations, and church courts who have compromised on the Bible's teaching to publicly repent or face discipline.
