Today’s guest is 73-year-old Barb Broad, a grandmother and mother of 3 from Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 40, Barb chose to take up running, so she joined her husband and his running friends. Five years into running, she ran her first marathon, the NYC Marathon, and it continues to be her favorite race. Barb has now run 23 marathons with a PR of 3:18. She has run the Boston Marathon 8 times, and she has won her age group 4 of those times. She also has excelled at Masters marathons and track meets, and set indoor American records at that time for her age group in the 800m and the mile. It's never too late to try something new!
