#44: Manikin Exam (MTCE) compared to Live Patient Exam (PTCE) Clinical component of (ADEX)
For a very long time students have been required to take a live patient exam as part of the process of showing competency to obtain a license to practice as a dental hygienist. The manikin exam replaced the live patient exam to provide licensure during the pandemic. In this episode we will discuss the pros and cons of both types of exams as well as some of the misinformation about the exams to provide clarity and confidence moving forward in a post pandemic world.
