After Lex gets framed for murder he does everything to try to save himself and his reputation. Unfortunately, Clark Kent is an old fashioned gentleman cowboy and doesn't allow for one night stands, so he gets mad at Lex and goes to Lionel for help in the investigation. In other news, Jason's mom pays a visit to Lana after Lana dreams about her in 17th century France.

Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother, The Avengers) special guest stars as Smallville original character/villain Shannon Bell.

Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers) makes her first special guest appearance as Jason Teague's mother, Genevieve Teague.
