The San Francisco 49ers returned to the field for Day 17 of 2025 NFL Training Camp — a day filled with a blockbuster trade, standout quarterback play, and a scare involving their star left tackle:

• 49ers trade for Chiefs WR Skyy Moore, sending a 6th-round pick in exchange for Moore and a 7th. Moore saw limited work in practice but adds depth to a WR room hit hard by injuries.

• Brock Purdy was locked in, going 16-for-21 with pinpoint accuracy, including a red-zone touchdown to Christian McCaffrey and a perfect deep strike to George Kittle.
