The Story Bridge Adventure Climb has today opened the world’s first accessible bridge climb.

People with accessibility requirements will now be able to climb the iconic bridge in a specially designed wheelchair, leaving from Howard Smith Wharves.

Howard Smith Wharves CEO, Luke Fraser, told Sofie Formica, "Just because you are not as able-bodied or you might just have accessibility challenges, doesn't mean you don't want to do adventure activities."

"And that's what we're doing here today, it's a world first, it's a special, state-of-the-art wheelchair that's been designed to be able to climb up the story bridge right to the very peak."

An out-of-control Brisbane house party organised by students from Brisbane Boys College has left the owner with a hefty damage bill.

Police were called to the home in East Brisbane about 7.45 pm on Saturday, with officers dispersing a large group of people, some of whom had allegedly paid to attend the party.

Footage captured that night shows hundreds of revellers at the property, damaging everything from the plumbing to throwing expensive appliances and a mower directly into the pool.

The results of last year’s Aussie Bird Count are in, with 57-thousand people taking part to count 4.1 million birds from around the country.

The week-long national event took place in October last year and the data has revealed that no two states share the same top 3 birds.
