Meth residue contamination in rental properties has become a major issue in Queensland with many landlords not aware of the solutions or how to test and monitor their properties for this massive problem.

The new Ambassador for Australian Meth Activity Queensland and Broncos legend Alan Langer told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "As a family man you just see the effects of what meth does to kids or does to people, it's very sad and it's heartbreaking to tell the truth."

There is still plenty of discussion around what Satellite Hospitals should be called when they are renamed.

Queensland Health Minister Tim Nicholls told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, " You go out there and ask your listeners and put names forward."

"The survey had about half a dozen names there as well as an option for any other suggestions that people might want to put forward, interested to hear what your listeners have to say," the Health Minister said.

"It was really interesting because Donald Trump's speech was in many ways still candid Donald Trump rather than President Donald Trump and Joe Biden at some points had his chin on his on his fist and a little shake of the head."

Queensland Police officers currently have to supply their own tourniquets which could be the difference between life and death.

QPS Union President Shane Prior told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "The work environment of police in this state has become extraordinarily dangerous."

"We've got 12 officers a week being seriously assaulted and people are more willing to engage in violent behaviour towards police."

"That is why we need the appropriate material to save our own lives in the event something like this happens," Shane Prior said.

TikTok was banned in America by the Biden administration, but on the eve of his inauguration Donald Trump has reverse this decision, reinstating the social media app early this morning.

Technology Expert Trevor Long told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "It's hilarious to me when anyone says, oh, I wouldn't go on TikTok it's owned by the Chinese, I don't want them having my data."

"But you're okay with Google knowing way more than Chinese know about you and Facebook and yes, they're American companies, but who cares?"

"They're a company that is monetizing your data, they own more about you than anyone could ever believe," Trevor Long said.
