From July 1, federal MPs will pocket a 2.4% salary boost after a new determination by the Remuneration Tribunal which means Anthony Albanese's salary will rise by more than $14,000 to $620,000.

This week is Men’s Health Week and this year's focus is Prostate Cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia with the disease claiming the lives of nearly 4,000 men every year or 11 men every day.

Billy Slater has made some drastic changes to the Maroons side with Queensland staring down the barrel of a second straight series defeat.

A 4BC listener informed 4BC Breakfast yesterday that he had been charged an 'airport construction fee' when taking a taxi trip to the Brisbane Airport.

Taxi Council Australia CEO Blair Davies told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "I can confirm there is no such thing as a construction fee that you have to pay to get out of a cab at Brisbane airport."

The taxi company has been contacted for comment.

The United Nations Youth Queensland President and Labor staffer Steph Archer has claimed that young kids can’t go out in Queensland anymore out of fear of being caught up in the Youth Crime crackdown.

She has said that "Young people feel demonised in this state," which Peter Fegan labelled as "garbage" and "a load of crap."

A deep dark underworld of AI fakes and pornography within Queensland schools has been revealed.

There have been two cases in a week, the most recent at Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Noosaville.

Queensland Education Minister John Paul Langbroek told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "These types of incidents do make me question whether we need to look at some other sort of oversight of these non-state schools."

"Because for a lot of it, it's them agreeing to their responsibilities, but in some cases, we're seeing they're not carrying through."
