The Brisbane Broncos will go completely ‘off-brand’ with a new Mental Health jersey to be worn by the team, during a dedicated Mental Health Round announced by the Club on Tuesday.

Brisbane Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "There's been a lot of work going behind the scenes over the past 12 months to bring this to life, and without doubt, it is a powerful statement."

There are major concerns that the emergency management levy in Queensland could be increased.

4BC Breakfast has been informed that the Queensland Fire Department sent a letter to landowners in multiple areas, spanning from the Gold Coast to North of Cairns, instructing them that their emergency management levy would in fact be increased.

Iva Davies and Icehouse join the star-studded lineup for the first-ever Night at the Parkland series on September 5th.

The event is set to transform Roma Street Parklands for seven concert nights over two weeks, headlining some of Australia’s most talented artists.

Icehouse frontman Iva Davies told 4BC’s Peter Fegan “when I see a list of people like that I know it’s going to be incredible”.

The iconic artist also revealed his surprising taste in music.

“For me to have a pleasurable listening experience I’m probably going to listen to Bach or Beethoven,” he said.
