Investigative Journalist Hedley Thomas' latest podcast gives plenty of compelling reasons for why authorities should continue the search for the missing northern New South Wales mum.

Thomas told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "Glenn Taylor, the retired detective sergeant, has said if he were running this case now, he would be asking the coroner to reopen the inquest or use her powers to organise a search beneath the slab of this property in Illalong," Hedley Thomas said.

The Albanese Government’s tough new hate crime laws have officially passed in the Senate.

The laws will introduce mandatory minimum sentences of six years for terror offences, three years for financing terrorism and one year for displaying hate symbols.

The Queensland Government will be unveiling their new name for Satellite Hospitals at the Redlands Hospital today.

The Queensland Police Service sent an email, acting as the union, to all officers offering a five per cent pay rise as a part of a 'training exercise' to test staff's willingness to engage in phishing emails.

Queensland Police has secured the extradition of a 54-year-old man from New Zealand who was arrested in connection with one of the state's biggest drug busts.

Back in 2019, 766kg of MDMA powder was seized in the same operation that also led to the interception of 200kg of methamphetamine in New Zealand.
