4Player Podcast

In what is sure to be the classiest show we have ever done, we talk about Majora's Mask 3D; a classic entry in the Zelda franchise that has made a return on the 3DS in a big way! Brad vents his frustrations with the flawed character selection process in online Smash Bros WiiU. Nick and Krispy played Dying Light Co-Op and Brad's dreams slowly start to crumble now that Microsoft has pulled the rug out from under the new Phantom Dust remake. On top of all that, we talk about relationship flatulence, prostate exams, and expressing dogs anal glands. What went wrong this week? I have no idea...

We host our first podcast since launching our brand new website, community forum, and Patreon campaign! On top of that, we have plenty of new games to talk about this week! Strangely enough, 3 of these "NEW" games (Darkest Dungeon, Stranded Deep, and Besiege) are all in Steam early access and are being praised for their various degrees of success. Nick was finally able to dive into Dying Light and we kick off our revamped community segment by answering several questions submitted to us by our Patrons!

Our first major release of the year and... Brad is nowhere to be found! Chris Davis fills in as we discuss our very early impressions of Dying Light. The game seems promising despite some big elephants hanging out in the room (*Cough* Dead Island *Cough*). Nolan played some of dat new Saint's Row DLC and Krispy seems to be loving the Code Name S.T.E.A.M. demo on the 3DS. Throw in some last minute PAX South impressions and you have yourself a podcast!

2015 has finally hit us! As always, we gather to discuss the myriad of titles we know (or hope) will be hitting gaming platforms in the coming year! Because the nature of the industry has been forever changed by the existence of Steam Greenlight and Early Access and because of the increased popularity of Episodic gaming, we decided to do this a little bit differently this year. We all know you love ranked lists so we each put together our 20 most anticipated games of 2015! Think of it as the LONGEST Top 5 podcast ever. We tried to cover as much as possible but if we missed something, drop us a comment down below!

It's the final podcast of 2014! We finally get to have a shared conversation about The Talos Principle which we all love. Chris Davis (sitting in for Nolan) has been playing a game called Depth... it's a multiplayer game about man-eating Sharks! It sounds interesting to be sure and some of us might even use it in an upcoming Community night once we get those rolling again in 2015! Lastly, ChaiTai is a heathen and the group learns to mind their mental 10-foot poles this week.

So long 2014! We'll be back next week with our 2015 preview show!

Happy Holidays everyone! We hope every one of you has a wonderful and safe holiday! We celebrated this week with super UGLY Christmas sweaters and lots of gift giving! We also dive into a rad new puzzle game called The Talos Principle. Seriously look it up if you haven't yet because it's drawing lots of comparisons to Portal and who didn't LOVE Portal!? On top of that, Nick played a few hours of the Halo 5 Beta and walked away pretty impressed.
